Jenna Carls is a maker, weaver, knitter and dyer.  She lives cozily in Harrisburg.  Jenna holds a BA in American Studies from Northwestern University where she studied pre-industrial women’s work.  Inspired by historical textile making, Jenna taught herself to process sheep fleece, dye and spin yarn.  While living in Chicago, she gained a keen appreciation for well-made accessories and began designing her own knitwear.

Jenna’s work combines traditional methods with vibrant colors. She uses hand-painted, hand-spun yarn was well as commercially spun fibers.
