Our mission here at the Millworks is a simple one: to create a regional destination which showcases Central Pennsylvania’s wonderful artistic talents as well as our region’s bountiful, sustainable agriculture. With our “hyper-local” approach, we look forward to being a part of Midtown Harrisburg’s renaissance, supporting local growers, local artists, and local businesses.

Venture out onto the 165 seat rooftop biergarten and enjoy an aerial view of Midtown Harrisburg. The rooftop serves craft beers from the Millworks Brewery, wines, and specialty cocktails. Take a seat with a large stein of beer, a beer braised sausage sandwich, and enjoy some fun pub games with friends. No reservations available or needed. Open 4/28/17 serving wine & beer. Officially open for the season, Tuesday May 2nd, serving food, wine, & beer.
Thirty one regional artists have studios inside the Millworks. The artists work on their wares as customers watch from the restaurant and open air courtyard. Sculptors, painters and others use their studios as their primary location for production. Open houses allow customers to walk through the studios and see the artists perform their craft in person.
The entry of the building leads directly into the art gallery, displaying the works of the Millworks’ artists. Restaurant and bar goers are able to see and buy displayed items, focused on offering art at an accessible price range.
