Emily Zebel

Emily Zebel is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, film, photography, and written narrative, all rooted in a deep curiosity about the natural world and our place within it. Based in the Bloomsburg area, she draws inspiration from time spent in wild, quiet spaces, where the boundaries between human and animal, memory and dream, begin to blur. Her oil paintings sit at the heart of this practice, distilling movement, story, and emotion into stillness. Zebel’s work was recently selected for the Reflections of a Greater Realm international exhibition, and her writing and video work has appeared in and received awards for Longreads, Bikepacking Journal, and at the No Man’s Land Film Festival.
