Kat Dreibelbis

Kat Dreibelbis is the artist behind Black Kat Luck. A Pennsylvania native, she grew up with a pencil in hand, trying to capture the both the world around her as well as the one in her dreams on paper.

Her work delves into her love of nature and science, of history and literature, of folk-lore, fairy tales, and whimsy. Driven by narrative and word play, every piece has a story to tell. Her work has a strong emphasis on playfulness, and color. Primarily working in watercolor with pen and ink, she also works in acrylics, oils, graphite pencil, and a variety of different sculptural mediums as each project dictates.
