Linocut is a beautiful method for creating your own hand-carved stamps. In this workshop you’ll learn how to draw, carve, and print your design using soft linocut blocks. We’ll show you how to separate an image into two color layers, and then recombine for a final piece of art. Students may bring their own 4×6” printed reference photo, draw during the class, or select from provided images. All supplies will be provided including linocut blocks, tools, ink, and paper.
