Family Holiday Clay Ornament Workshop

CREATE YOUR OWN FAMILY HEIRLOOMS

with Cindi Hardwicke of Sycamore Shade Studios

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8 TH, 1:00 – 4:00 PM @ Millworks

This workshop is open to anyone who would like to create your own unique, one-of-a-kind, clay ornaments.

No prior pottery experience is required. Open to families with children or friend groups older than 9 years old.

Hang them on your tree, decorate your walls, or use them to create a special touch on holiday packaging.

Great for gifting to a loved one, special friend or colleague, or to simply treat yourself.

You will create and decorate your ornaments with stamps and impressions to create texture.

They will be bisque fired in a kiln and ready for you to pick up in approximately 1 week.

We will contact you to pick them up in our Millworks Studio, 215.

You will have the option to take them home to watercolor paint and glaze with sparkle varnish OR schedule a time with us to come into our Studio (215) to paint them.

Workshop Fee of $100 includes Tools and Instruction needed to create a total of  20 ornaments for a family (or friend group) of up to 4 people. (If you need to add a family member/friend, contact Cindi at intheshadeofthesycamoretree@gmail.com to add a person – You can pay for the additional person on the day of the workshop) The fee for each additional person, which includes 5 ornaments, is $25 (to Millworks), plus $10 Materials Fee (to Instructor).

Materials Fee of $20 per family, payable to the instructor on the day of your workshop vis Cash or Check.

This Fee includes includes clay, watercolor paint, acrylic varnish, ribbon and firing needed to complete the ornaments created by your family or friend group.
