Mask Making with Tina Berrier

Join Tina as she guides you to make your very own mask design. Starting with a mask form, she will help you construct Flora, Fauna or Spooky character.
Tina’s love of Mexican Culture and Dia De LosMuertos has led her to the region of Oaxaca 5 times. The parades are legendary and the costumes mostly handmade.
In this class students will construct the shell from a basic form, paper over that to unify, then using a combination of painted tissue paper, paint and collage’ complete your work of art.
We will also use some specialty paints if you so desire to give your creations a magic that craft paint can’t give.
This class is suitable for older tweens through adult. We will be using sharp cutting implements and glues. It is a 4.5 hour class with a 1 hour lunch break giving the creations time to dry.
Instructor will collect a 20 dollar supply fee at beginning of class.
